DONE -​Purdys Chocolate Fundraiser - 2021

​The Carson Graham Music Program is once again selling Purdys Chocolates this holiday season! 

Your family,  friends, co-workers and neighbours can shop online (payment by credit card is the preferred method) or by order form (payment by cash or cheque) to avoid the crowds.  

This year, the money that each student raises will be used to pay for:
  1. any outstanding school music course fee(s)
  2. any additional funds will then be split equally between the student’s own fundraising account and the music department

We understand that paying school course fee(s) at this time can be difficult for some families due to the pandemic - we hope that this opportunity makes it a little easier.  And, as the music department has had reduced opportunities to do its own fundraising this past year, the extra funds will help offset the costs of maintaining our vibrant and expanding program.

HOW IT WORKS
The first thing you must do is log into your account.
Students have received a Purdys catalog and (2) information forms from their music teacher (check their backpacks!):   
  1. ​Student Information Form - includes your seven digit individual Purdys Login ID - first name@139xxxx.com) plus our password - Teams@87279.  Follow the directions on this form to log into your account and send invitations to your customers.
  2. Customer Information Form - send a copy of this form to family, friends, co-workers, etc. so that they can place orders on your account.

INVITE CUSTOMERS TO PLACE ORDERS
This can be done in (2) ways
  1. Email them the instructions on your Customer Ordering Instructions form (or give them a copy of this form (i.e.) send them your personalized link:  https://fundraising.purdys.com/139xxxx-87279
  2. Log in to your Purdys account (instructions on the Student Information Sheet), click the same personalized link that is on your form (it's located near the top left of the screen), and hit the copy icon beside it.  You can then paste this in an email out to family, friends, co-workers or in your social media to share your campaign!

TO SEE THE ORDERS ON YOUR ACCOUNT:

WHAT IF MY CUSTOMER(S) WANTS TO PAY BY CASH OR CHEQUE?
  • Print the Purdys Order form here​​
  • Ensure your customer's name and contact information is at the top of the form
  • Include your name so that the order is credited to your account
  • Cheques must be made out to "Carson Graham Secondary"
  • Hand in the order form, and payment, to the school office before the deadline on Monday, Nov 22nd.

HOW CAN I GET MORE CATALOGS?

HOW CAN I USE THE MONEY I EARN IN MY 'STUDENT FUNDRAISING ACCOUNT'?
  • At the end of the fundraiser the profit you earn will be held by the music teachers in your Fundraising Account.
  • The funds in your account can be used to pay for music course fees or trips within the music program.
  • To use the funds email your music teacher.

I HAVEN'T RECEIVED A PURDYS CATALOG OR MY INSTRUCTION FORMS:
Contact your music teacher or the parent co-ordinator:  Susan Gibbons at susan@susangibbons.ca.

IMPORTANT DATES:
The fundraising campaign runs until Monday, Nov 22nd, 2021
  • This is a hard end date set by Purdys and cannot be extended. Please have all orders submitted online (or paper ones handed into the school office by this date).
  • Order Pickup: Friday, Dec. 3rd from 3pm to 5pm and Wednesday Dec. 8th from 6pm to 8pm  at the garage doors in the Agora
  • Students are responsible for pickup and distribution of orders to their customers

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We will need many parent volunteers to assist us on the evening of Thursday Dec. 2nd from approx. 5:00 PM onwards (later arrivals are OK!) to count and sort the chocolates ready for pick-up.  Many hands make light work! We will also need a few helpers to assist with the 2 pick-up times listed above.
